Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years at the time of application.
  • Age relaxation is applicable as per apprenticeship rules.

2. General Eligibility Rules:

  • Candidates must have passed their qualifying exam within 2 years from the closing date (between 12.03.2024 to 11.03.2026).
  • Must possess a Full-time regular degree/diploma/ITI certificate from a recognized government institute/university. (Part-time / distance education is NOT eligible).
  • Candidates must not have more than 1 year of job experience or have undergone previous apprenticeship training.

Monthly Stipend Details

In addition to the basic stipend (which includes Govt. DBT), apprentices will receive an additional ₹2,500 per month as HRA if company accommodation is not provided.

Selection Process

There will be NO Written Examination and NO Interview. The selection process involves:

  1. Shortlisting: A merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the prescribed educational qualification.
  2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates (called in a 1:5 ratio to training slots) will undergo document verification.
  3. Final Merit List: Prepared post verification.
  4. Engagement: Subject to acceptance of the tri-partite apprenticeship contract, submission of a medical fitness certificate, and police verification.

Step 1: Register on the Govt. Apprenticeship Portal (100% Profile Completion)

  • For ITI / HR / CSR / Rajbhasha Trades: Register on the NAPS portal at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.
  • For Engineering Degree / Diploma: Register on the NATS portal at nats.education.gov.in.
  • Obtain your 16-digit NAPS/NATS enrollment/registration number.
