Short Information: Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) invites applications for the recruitment of Scientific Officers (Group A) through OCES-2026 and DGFS-2026 training schemes. Eligible Engineering Graduates and Science Postgraduates can apply online from 22nd December 2025 to 28th January 2026. Selected candidates will receive a stipend of ₹74,000/month during training and approx ₹1,35,000/month upon appointment.

Training Schemes
- OCES-2026: One-year Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Science Postgraduates.
- DGFS-2026: Two-year DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme for Engineering Graduates (M.Tech).
Eligibility Criteria (as on 01/08/2026)
1. Age Limit:
- General: 26 Years
- OBC (NCL): 29 Years
- SC/ST: 31 Years
- 1984 Riots Dependents / Kashmir Domicile: 31 Years
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
2. Educational Qualification:
- Engineering: B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc.(Engg)/5-Year Integrated M.Tech in Civil, Chemical, CS, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Metallurgy with Min 60% Marks.
- Science: M.Sc./Integrated M.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Biosciences, Geology, Geophysics with Min 60% Marks.
- Note: Final Year Students are eligible (Degree must be completed by 31 July 2026).

Selection Process
Selection involves Screening followed by a Selection Interview. Final selection is based solely on the interview.
- Mode 1: Online Examination (March 2026).
- Mode 2: GATE Score (GATE-2024, 2025, or 2026).
- Candidates can opt for BOTH modes.
