Application Fee & Refund Policy

The application fee must be paid online. A major portion of the fee is refunded to eligible candidates who appear for the sports trial.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the requisite educational qualification as on the closing date of application (30 September 2026):

Level 5 / Level 4 Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University.
Level 3 / Level 2 Passed 12th Class (+2 stage) or its equivalent OR Matriculation plus Act Apprenticeship / ITI approved by NCVT/SCVT.
Level 1 (Group ‘D’) 10th Pass from a recognized Board OR ITI OR equivalent OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.

Sports Norms & Eligibility Summary

Only sportspersons who are currently active and earned recognized performance between 01-04-2024 and 27-08-2026 are eligible:

  • Level 5/4: Represented India in Olympic Games (Senior) OR at least 3rd position in World Cup / World Championships / Asian Games / Commonwealth Games / Youth Olympics / Champions Trophy (Hockey) / Thomas or Uber Cup (Badminton).
  • Level 3/2: Represented India in International Championships OR secured at least 3rd position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships, National Games, or All India Inter-University Championships, OR 1st position in Federation Cup (Senior).
  • Level 1: Represented in International championships OR at least 3rd position in Federation Cup (Senior) OR represented a State with at least 8th position in Senior National Championships.

Selection Process & Marks Distribution

Candidates will be evaluated out of a total of 100 Marks through a comprehensive assessment:
