A total of 90 vacancies are available for the posts of Supervisor-I and Junior Maintainer. NCRTC Salary / Pay Scale 2026
Selected candidates will receive basic pay along with Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA), HRA, and cafeteria approach perks.
- Supervisor-I (S1 Level): Rs. 37,000 – Rs. 1,15,000/- (Initial Basic: Rs. 37,000)
- Junior Maintainer (NS3 Level): Rs. 18,250 – Rs. 59,200/- (Initial Basic: Rs. 18,250)
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The recruitment process for both notices includes:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): A 90-minute online exam comprising 100 questions for 100 marks. Good news: There is NO negative marking for incorrect answers.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 60% for UR/OBC/EWS and 50% for SC/ST/PwBD/ExSM. Final selection is on merit.
- Medical Fitness Test: Shortlisted candidates must pass the medical standards (A-3, B-1, or C-1) defined by the Indian Railway Medical Manual (IRMM).
NCRTC Surety Bond & Employment Terms
Candidates selected for these posts must execute a surety bond serving a minimum service period of 3 years.
