KTET Eligibility 2025
To be eligible for KTET 2025, applicants must be Indian nationals. There is no higher age restriction, although the minimum age is 21. For Category I (Lower Primary, Classes 1–5), applicants must have passed Higher Secondary (or something similar) with at least 45% of the marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.), or 50% of the marks with a 4-year B.El.Ed. or 2-year Diploma in Special Education. A BA/B.Sc./B.Com. with a 2-year D.El.Ed. or B.Ed. or an equivalent degree is needed for Category II (Upper Primary, Classes 6–8). Candidates from SC/ST/OBC and those with disabilities might get lower scores.
