Selection Process & Exam Pattern
The recruitment selection procedure consists of four rigorous stages:
- Stage 1: Objective Type Test (100 Marks, 1.5 Hours): Covers General English (25), GK (25), Provisions relating to Judiciary in the Constitution of India (25), Supreme Court Rules 2013 (15), and Computer Operation (10). Minimum qualifying marks: 50. (No negative marking).
- Stage 2: Shorthand Test in English (100 Marks): Dictation at 110 w.p.m. for 7 minutes, transcription time 45 minutes. Max permissible mistakes: 5%. Minimum qualifying marks: 50.
- Stage 3: Typing Speed Test on Computer (20 Marks): English typing at 40 w.p.m. for 10 minutes. Max permissible mistakes: 3%. Minimum qualifying marks: 10.
- Stage 4: Interview (30 Marks): Minimum qualifying marks: 15. Final merit is prepared based on performance in qualifying stages.
